Hi x265 developers,<br>
<br>
On the "bitbucket" site You are pointing out the those information
about YASM 1.2.0:<br>
<br>
<ul>
<li>"To ensure your build of x265 is capable of full performance,
install YASM 1.2.0 or greater to compile assembly primitives.
....</li>
<li>"Yasm performance patch..."<br>
</li>
</ul>
I am wondering, if it is not beneficial to the project to update
those informations, since there is new YASM version:<br>
<br>
<blockquote>Latest Release: 1.3.0<br>
Release Date: August 10, 2014<br>
<a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://yasm.tortall.net/Download.html">http://yasm.tortall.net/Download.html</a><br>
</blockquote>
<br>
Updating the description and the download section on "bitbucket" to
YASM 1.3.0 could be beneficial - new generation codec should use the
"up to date" software. Updating to YASM 1.3.0 will also remove the
need of YASM performance patch, since it has been included in the
new version of YASM 1.3.0.<br>
<br>
Best regards<br>
Michal
