<div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr"><div dir="ltr">Hi Sunil, <div><br></div><div>From the very first glace of your command line, I think you have missed the --preset option. [<a href="https://x265.readthedocs.io/en/default/presets.html">https://x265.readthedocs.io/en/default/presets.html</a>]. You can try the ultrafast or superfast preset for higher performance. Regarding the overview of different CLI options plz check the x265 documentation: <a href="https://x265.readthedocs.io/en/default/cli.html">https://x265.readthedocs.io/en/default/cli.html</a></div><div><br clear="all"><div><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_signature"><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div><div dir="ltr"><div>Thanks,</div><div dir="ltr"><span></span><span></span>Kalyan Goswami, PhD</div><div dir="ltr"><span style="font-size:12.8px">Video Architect @ MulticoreWare</span></div><div dir="ltr"><div><a href="http://www.multicorewareinc.com/" target="_blank">http:</a><a href="http://www.multicorewareinc.com/" style="font-size:12.8px" target="_blank">//www.multicorewareinc.com</a></div><div><span style="font-size:12.8px">+91 9884989331</span><br></div><div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div></div><br></div></div></div></div><br><div class="gmail_quote"><div dir="ltr" class="gmail_attr">On Thu, Feb 28, 2019 at 3:01 PM Mario *LigH* Rohkrämer <<a href="mailto:contact@ligh.de">contact@ligh.de</a>> wrote:<br></div><blockquote class="gmail_quote" style="margin:0px 0px 0px 0.8ex;border-left:1px solid rgb(204,204,204);padding-left:1ex">Hi Sunil.<br>

Just a general note: AVX512 is not certainly faster than AVX2 on every <br>
CPU model. There have been a few tests e.g. in the doom9 video forum. So <br>
don't expect miracles.<br>
<br>
Knowing your exact CPU model may help estimating if there can be a <br>
speedup, or if it is a model which may e.g. throttle too much to avoid <br>
overheating.<br>
<br>
But wait for more experienced replies than mine...<br>
