[Android] Digital zoom in streaming video

Hi,

I would like to implement a digital zoom for Android VLC library. I see
that there is the Crop and Scale filter. My idea is to chain both filters.
First scale, than crop to the original image size. But filter is not
possible with streaming video.

Can I somehow use these methods and implement this functionality to scale
and crop the picture being sent to the SurfaceView ? Any hints ?
