[Android] How to update the Android VLC code ?

Hi,
I have clone the Android VLC repository and build the code.
But I would like to update to the current version.
I do:
> git pull origin master

No issue here. But the VLC code under vlc/ folder does not get updated if
the tested hash is changed.
I don't want to recompile the whole VLC code as it takes almost one day.

Can you point me the steps to update also the VLC code to match the tested
hash in compile.sh file ?
