If I understood correctly, the feature is for excluding certain files
from the media library.

For example, say I browse in my file system and see "foo.mp3" and I'd
like to prevent "foo.mp3" from being scanned and included into the
media library, I could long-click it and select "Exclude from media
library" or something.

(There should also be a way to reset this to default i.e. scan all
files. Otherwise it might be easy to wonder why some file isn't
scanning.)
