[Android] [PATCH 0/5] minor touch-up of compile.sh

These set of patches are my immediate reactions to working with, and
looking into, "compile.sh". They are certainly not urgent nor
important, but hopefully they will make maintenance and usage of the
mentioned script a little easier in the future.
