[Android] Audio track switch latency

I have an android app that uses LibVLC and saw that switching audio track
of a video file takes 2-4 seconds and the same file played using Android's
MediaPlayer library can switch audio track instantly. Is there anything I
can do to have LibVLC switch the track faster?
