BTW, it happens only with wget and curl. Firefox downloads by "save
file as" the log file with normal speed without problems. All downloads
from videolan.org with wget/curl happen for me at very low speed (30-50 KB/s).
I had to patch compile.sh to respect existing gradle-*-all/bin.zip in
order to avoid huge delays with "downloading... [nothing happens]".
