[Android] Queries regarding the GSOC2020

Respected sir/m'am,

I'm Mrigank Khandelwal studying in M.S.Ramaiah Institute Of
Technology(2019-2023).
I'm interested in working on the VLC Android application. I've been
using VLC for as long as I can remember and I have a few good ideas
regarding the android app. However I don;t have experience in opensource
and I was wondering if it would still be a good idea to aplly any way.
I have worked in android for about an year and am familiar with it. Any
guidance regarding the same would be extremely helpful.
