AFAIK circular polarization is only a matter for the LNB, not for the tuner of demod.

Actually I have always disliked those lof1/lof2 settings in DVB apps. The default value provided in dvb.c are for convenience only. If you have non-standard LOF, the best is not pass the BIS frequency directly.
