Developers having their own uncommited set of patches is normal.

For a build system you just have to go from "svn co" to "git clone" and
from "svn up" to "git pull". This isn't harder than that.

While I understand that git is harder than SVN, it isn't that more
difficult for a simple project like DVBlast, where there is one main
branch.
