Thank you!
That did the trick (along with using a valid multicast address).

Hi,

The second column in the config file is the "ci" flag. Just add a zero, as you don't use one (do you?)

E.g.
255.0.0.41:20000<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__255.0.0.41-3A20000_&d=DQMFaQ&c=7Q-FWLBTAxn3T_E3HWrzGYJrC4RvUoWDrzTlitGRH_A&r=MWlIwbeYHADLciOOwPrL2pyGUdkna7s1vBmY1Px-V3k&m=ZRWP8_NX3YRbYxEJDGG10qXm7HnM73EZ9CPkjxxNfOI&s=vPbBLLdOBhlPT1qv4LAFGg3I0ooq3wnGRK0intSHHbw&e=>       0      1       257,258,1

Also, you don't need that PID list (and even if you do, you don't need the PMT PID 1 listed, just the ES components).

Hello folks. First time poster here. I made an effort to find resources to help, however I am new to DVblast and may not be looking in the right places.
Please forgive me in advance if there is a resource that can be found.

I am attempting to run DVblast to a multicast stream from a raspberry PI3 with a Hauppauge Win950Q usb adapter. Additionally I downloaded dvblast version 3.

Here is ouput from dmesg: grep –I dvb
[    5.386933] tveeprom 3-0050: TV standards NTSC(M) ATSC/DVB Digital (eeprom 0x88)
[    6.090902] DVB: registering new adapter (au0828)
[    6.090927] usb 1-1.4: DVB: registering adapter 0 frontend 0 (Auvitek AU8522 QAM/8VSB Frontend)...
[  155.101698] xc5000: Firmware dvb-fe-xc5000-1.6.114.fw loaded and running.

I found this channel on our cable TV system:
RADAR:501000000:QAM_256:257:258:1

I created a config file with the following:
255.0.0.41:20000<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__255.0.0.41-3A20000&d=DQMFaQ&c=7Q-FWLBTAxn3T_E3HWrzGYJrC4RvUoWDrzTlitGRH_A&r=MWlIwbeYHADLciOOwPrL2pyGUdkna7s1vBmY1Px-V3k&m=ZRWP8_NX3YRbYxEJDGG10qXm7HnM73EZ9CPkjxxNfOI&s=YWRiGTOUgr3OejstwoXXas5YsHGkWf2FsritTqXFMeQ&e=>        1       257:258:1
I have also tried a config file in this format:
255.0.0.41:20000<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__255.0.0.41-3A20000&d=DQMFaQ&c=7Q-FWLBTAxn3T_E3HWrzGYJrC4RvUoWDrzTlitGRH_A&r=MWlIwbeYHADLciOOwPrL2pyGUdkna7s1vBmY1Px-V3k&m=ZRWP8_NX3YRbYxEJDGG10qXm7HnM73EZ9CPkjxxNfOI&s=YWRiGTOUgr3OejstwoXXas5YsHGkWf2FsritTqXFMeQ&e=>        1       257,258,1

My multicast stream never starts and I see the following output from dvblast:

/usr/local/bin/dvblast -a 0 -f 501000000 -c config-radar.conf -m QAM_256 --delsys ATSC

I suspect there is a dvblast command line switch that I need and/or my config file is missing something.

Can someone please point me in a direction?

Thank you in advance.
