Hi,
This is seen with a Max SX8 card from Digital Devices.
Here it can be seen that the calls used by DVBlast are deprecated, e.g. for FE_READ_BER:
https://www.kernel.org/doc/html/v4.18/media/uapi/dvb/fe-read-ber.html
Kind regards,
Michel

Hi,
AFAIK this calls are still supported with the cards we use, but it is possible your card driver doesn't implement them. Which card is it?
Best regards

Dear DVBlast developers,
When using dvblastctl to get statistics from a satellite input card, the following errors are thrown in dvblast:
error: ioctl FE_READ_BER failed (Operation not supported)
error: ioctl FE_READ_SIGNAL_STRENGTH failed (Operation not supported)
error: ioctl FE_READ_SNR failed (Operation not supported)
This is with DVBlast 3.4, running on Linux Kernel version 4.18.0.
I believe the errors are thrown because deprecated calls are used.
Are there any plans to update DVBlast for this ?
Regards,
Michel
