read error at vob_1

hi there!

i currently am running into a problem where vobcopy will get to a
point at copying where it just stops and freezes, i have to CTRL+Z
then reboot my system to free up the drive.

i used dvdbackup and it was able to stop and report read fail. i think
this may be an issue with libdvdcss as the dvd is relatively new and
possibly the css is not working on it.

the movie is kung fu hustle, is there some info that i can send you
that may possibly help in figuring out how to accomplish this?
