Hello all,

I'm trying to get todays cvs of vls working with a v4l source
(comments on the cvs tree indicate v4linput is wokring again ??), and
while all is going well from the video side, it refuses to work
without an audio source, and complains bitterly about /dev/dsp being
unavailable for reading (not supprising since the box hasn't a sound
card), finally dieing with something like :

** Start of
Warning: trashing an audio frame (somebignumber)... your computer is
too slow!
Warning: trashing an audio frame (somebiggernumber)... your computer
is too slow!
Warning: trashing an audio frame (somebiggernumber)... your computer
is too slow!
pure virtual method called
Aborted

(hand typed, may have a little out of wack....)

Is there any way to tell vls that there is no audio source
available??? This is running via a ov511 based usb camera connected to
a piii800, which has been used previously with 25fps capture .... I
would have thought it was fast enough!

Also, is it possible to tell vls to capture at a slower frame rate (ie
5fps??) ?

Regards,

Richard
