[streaming] Hardware recommendations

Hi,
I am looking to purchase a DVD player, satellite card and MPEG2 encoder card
for my PC. Could you recommend a manufacturer / product that performs best
using your vlc & vls software. The server will be used for streaming video
to IP settop boxes.

Do you also know if you can get DVD duke boxes for PCs?
