[streaming] Streaming FLAC streams

I'd like to add a feature to vlc 0.6.2 to stream FLAC streams.
What would be the best way to integrate this?

On the streaming side it seems that one need only create a flac 
packetizer module similar to modules/packetizer/a52.c and fixup the ts 
mux to accept a flac stream.

Anything else? Am I missing anything?
