If you want to stream the DVD that is inside the drive, yes (with VLC
stream output). Otherwise, no.

Before using FTP, you need to run vlc or vls from the drive, to that the
copy protection on DVD is desactivated.

libdvbpsi-0.1.2.tar.gz : Y
libdvdcss-1.2.4.tar.gz : Y
libdvdread-0.9.3.tar.gz : Y

The 3 librairies first, then vls.
