As answered in a recent post, it's not the job of the streaming server
to support the IGMP protocol, but the job of the network hardware. On
our LAN, we use IGMP for multicast, it this is configured on our
switches and routers, but not on the streaming server !

Of course ! If they stream MPEG-2 TS or MPEG-4 TS inside UDP or RTP,
there should be no problem.
