Hi guys,

OK it won't work with windows. It's a good thing :D
I obtained some credits from University to pay an acquisition card and a
linux workstation. Where can I find a list of supported cards under
linux ? I'm looking for it since several days, but didn't find anything
interesting.

The idea is to make the acquisition from a VHS source, a desktop camera
and a mini-disc player. In the same range of idea, did any of you heard
about a sound card with SPDIF I/O (optical and RCA) that is supported
under linux (for use with mini-disc player) ?

I think I will buy a WinTV-PCI. Is this the good hardware to work with
VLC under linux ? Will I be able to acquire video and sound and stream it ?

Many thanks for the work.
