Hi all,

I have a Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-250 card installed on a debian woody
distribution. I’m trying configuring it, but I have some problems. I
compiled kernel 2.4.21 with v4l2 patch and in this moment I am installing
IVTV drivers. I have got to load all modules on my linux system, but when I
try to use the “test_ioctl” utilility in order to change some values on my
card, I get this error:

Failed to open /dev/video0: No such file or directory

Searching on the net, people use these command to create this device:

            mknod /dev/video0 c 81 0

But it isn’t work.

Someone can help me? I suppose that there is something I haven’t done.

Thx.
