Sorry, I forgot to tell you that I´ve tryed with different videos. All of
then can be played well with VLC in the two PCs (winXP machine and Debian
machine). Also I can stream all of this videos from a VLC to another VLC
running in other PC and I can see and hear well the videos.

*One example:
Video:
size: 352x288; 25 fps
# of frames: 6534; time 4:21
I/B/P frames: 389/1853/4292
I-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 4621 / 14536 / 29638 (5523K)
P-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 1731 / 8850 / 20128 (16017K)
B-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 724 / 3600 / 14610 (15093K)
Average bitrate: 1149 Kbps(141KB/s)

Audio:
format: 44KHz Stereo, 224Kbps layerII
# frames: 10006
total size: 7148K

*Other example:
Video:
size: 352x288; 25 fps
# of frames: 4223; time 2:48
I/B/P frames: 264/1210/2749
I-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 3650 / 18334 / 32996 (4727K)
P-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 2660 / 9513 / 18257(11242K)
B-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 1061 / 2874 / 14620 (7718K)
Average bitrate: 1149 Kbps(141KB/s)

Audio:
format: 44KHz Stereo, 224Kbps layerII
# frames: 6467
total size: 4620K

*Another one:
Video:
size: 352x240; 24 fps
Number of frames: 3879; time 2:41
I/B/P frames: 259/1034/2586
I-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 8369 / 16775 / 27203 (4243K)
P-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 7267 / 9745 / 16229 (9842K)
B-frame min/avg/max/total frame size: 311 / 3001 / 6560 (7582K)
Average bitrate: 1099 Kbps(135KB/s)

Audio:
format: 44KHz Stereo, 64Kbps layerII
# frames: 6182
total size: 1262K

With this last one the problem is different, I can stream it well from a VLC
to another VLC. But when I try to stream it from a VLS to a VLC (which is
running in other PC or in the same PC) I can hear the audio (all of it) but
the video window remains in black.

Should I upgrade to VLS 0.5.1?

Thanks for your support.
Victor.
