That should be  possible if you use  other software to set  the cam. VLC
can then read  the video on a device,  transcode it to MPEG 2  or MPEG 4
(you'll need  a quite fast computer),  and stream it. Since  you want to
use QT/WMP, MPEG4 over http semms to be the only solution...
