[streaming] Re: Streaming with VLS, deinterlacing

VLS cannot do any deinterlacing. VLC can, while displaying a video (have
a look at the deinterlace video filter).

If  you really  want to  stream a  deinterlaced stream,  you'll have  to
transcode it indeed. But VLS cannot  do that. You'll have to stream with
VLC.
