OK, I'll go looking and see if I can figure out where and how. (My C++

Very good - I'll have a look - I don't know which palettes the
quickcam express I'm playing with uses - maybe something for me to
work on....

Uh huh. I *love* strace. No, I'm not being sarcastic! Something to get
into... I still haven't worked out where the segv is coming from
either....
