You can get away with streaming at about 2.5Mb to a tv but you will see some artifacting, for decent picture i would not recommend streaming at anythingless than 4.5mb

my experience is, that the TV is much more forgiving than the pc monitor,
you will hardly notice blocking and artefacts on the tv which are clearly
visible on the pc.
