I'm used to using systems from nCube and Oracle. These systems have a
utility that you can test your configuration and filesystem for a maxstreams
capability. Not the network side of it but the disk bandwidth aspect.
1. Does VLS have such a utility?
2. Is it possible or are there plans for raw device access as opposed to
having to go through the file system. Again, in the same way such as with
nCube's Nvs and Oracle's OVS?
I'm concerned that the maxstreams with VLS may be limited due to file
system overhead of the OS of ones choice.
Regards
Keith
