Im sorry for the previous mail but I thought the main language was french.
So Im trying to make a tv streaming on a lan.
Im currently runnig it on my Mandrake 10 and it will move on our woody's
servers when it will work.
I get the vls source code from subversion then compiled it and it was ok:
./configure --enable-v4l
--with-ffmpeg=/home/diwann/sources/videolan/ffmpeg-cvs-2004-04-04/
>vls --version
VideoLAN Server - version 0.5.5 - (c)1996-2004 VideoLAN
[diwann at diwann vls-0.5]$ vls
VideoLAN Server v 0.5.6 (Apr 5 2004) - (c)1999-2003 VideoLAN
i found a vls.cfg file here :
http://www.videolan.org/doc/vls-user-guide/fr/ch04.html
and here is my problem :
my v4l device (a webcam and a TV card) are working under xawTV.
BUT
when i put that
BEGIN "Inputs"
pvr = "video"
webcam = "v4l"
tuner = "v4l"
END
in the vls.cfg , it say me that :
[2004-04-05 02:04:05 [ERROR/Vls] Input type "v4l" invalid
[2004-04-05 02:04:05 [ERROR/Vls] Input type "v4l" invalid
and if once it run the command
2004-04-05 02:04:06 [INFO/Vls] Executing command1 : 'start video rac pvr'
it can stop saying "Looping in Synch !!!!!!!!! (buffer size=188)"
what do I miss to do ?
many thanks to all the people who can help me.
Diwann
