Hi all,

Ok, I copied vlcintf.xpt to the components directory (and not to the
plugins directory) of Firebird, and registered it with regxpcom.
It seems to be registered (xpti.dat) :
...
115,vlcintf.xpt,0,175,1078224534000
...
123,vlcintf.xpt,1,175,1078224534000
...
663,VlcIntf,{ea92ef52-afe4-4212-bacb-dfe9fca94cd6},115,-1,1

First question : why vlcintf appears several times in xpti.dat ?

I made a web page with the HTML code found on the videolan website
(http://www.videolan.org/doc/vlc-user-guide/en/ch07.html#id2865016)
I replaced target="http://server.example.org/video1.vob"

with target="http://myserver_address/myfile.avi"

Second question : is the plugin available for VOB files only ? Can I stream an AVI file (encoded with Divx) via http to the plugin ?

I thought that maybe the plugin doesn't work with firebird. So I installed Mozilla, and tried to register vlcintf. I have an error message,
but the components seems to be registered (some lines are present in xpti.dat).
Waht should I do more for the plugin to work ?

Thanks for your answer.

Valéry
