If you want to do this you will need to create a playlist yourself and load that into vlc.

Subject: [streaming] HELP
Hi. My name i Damir, and I am from Slovenia. Our ISP (SIOL) ofering us new service, “TV over ADSL”.
We use AMINO set-top-box for that service. Becouse, ADSL dont have posibility tu transfer all TV chanells at the same time, as CABLE TV, ISP send us only one TV chanell at the time, chanell you select via set-top-box.
If I want to watch TV on my PC, I must select TV chanell on my set-top-box first, then vrite IP (239.255.0.51, port 5002 is IP of one chanell) of that chanel in the VLC.
Is it posible to configure VLC in that way, so the VLC “listening” on port 5002 and avtomaticly switch on the TV chanell that I select on set-top-box, so I dont have to write down IP of every TV chanell every time.
(using of playlist is too long procedure).
