[streaming] No audio when streaming from windows server

Hi, I have a problem streaming with VLC. When I stream a file, the
video comes through fine, but there is no audio at all, i.e. I can't
see it as an option under the "Audio" menu in the GUI of the windows
client machine. On the server machine under the "Audio" menu it is
"Disabled" by default, there is a "Track 1" entry in the menu but
selecting it does nothing.

I'm using the command vlc +vvv filename.avi --sout udp:192.168.0.3

The vlc version is: 0.7.2 Bond

The server is a windows XP box on 192.168.0.2 (100Mbit lan), the video
comes through OK but there is nothing in the Audio menu. I have debian
colinux distribution installed on the server as well, if I send the
stream with the same commandline arguments from debian it works fine
on the client (video, and audio).

The video file works ok if I play it locally on the windows server,
and since it works fine when streaming from the linux machine, I
expect both the client and video file are fine and it must be a
problem with the server.

Any idea how I can get audio working properly?

Cheers, Paul
