You could use the Solaris ATM sockets to send and receive ATM/MPEG cells.
However, I would advice you to use FreeBSD 4.9 with the HARP Stack and a
Prosum PROATM155 board:
There is a very good example into :
/usr/share/examples/atm/atm-sockets.txt
It supports CBR, VBR and UBR.
