[streaming] vlc 0.7.2 plays with pauses from network

When I am trying to play from network stream, vlc 0.7.2 plays with pauses.

Also if I record from net to file and then play this file, it plays with pauses.

 

Streamer is vlc 0.7.2 (run on Win XP) and network is fast Ethernet.

 

Amino103 STB plays this stream without any pauses. 

Why is it? How to prevent it?
