[streaming] adding files on the fly

I would like vls to be running all the time and would like to be able to
add media files to be available through unicast. My problem is that I
don't want to add and remove entries in vls.cfg when changes are done on
disk.
So a couple of questions...

1. Can I specify a default location and have vls look there for the
filenames?
2. Is there any way to tell vls to add a file on the fly using the
telnet interface?
