[streaming] generate SDP file

Hi,
 
I'm new to this mailing list and have a question for you all. 
 
I'd would like to generate an SDP-file from a specific rtsp session. Is
this possible to do with VLC? I have an rtsp-link to a .3gp file and
like to generate an SDP-file from this. I have tried to manually edit
one that I have but it seems impossible to get it to work. I know that
some streaming servers generates SDP-files but not the one that I'm
running here (Helix Streaming server)
 
Would be grateful to any help on this.
