[streaming] video capture card for streaming

hello!

I want to use vlc for streaming video. 
I have been using an Osprey 210, but the results are
choppy sound and a lot of warning messages about the
drift, buffer, resampling....

I wanted to know a good video capture card for
streaming video, that it work find with video4linux,
and so it work find with linux too.

I have been using an PVR 250 card too, but I don't
like very much it. 

If somebody working in the same, I thank for much the
