[streaming] Can anybody HELP?

Hi 
          I am vlc user and i wanted to do a project on video conferencing.
I and my group is doing a research for that. We found VLC is a good
tool for video broadcasting but there r some qeuries -
1. Is VLC suitable for video conferencing?
2. Why every time VLC takes so many steps for starting the conf?
3. Can we use it for multicast vid conf?

              Those r few of them please reply soon
