that sounds interesting... is it possible to stream mp4+aac over http with
vlc?  can you relay this stream via dss and access it through an sdp file?
I would be very glad to hear if you succeed in this :)

Otherwise my guess is trying to recompile vlc with amr-wb (a.k.a. samr)
enabled, but I'm not sure if vlc can stream it... Maybe this would be the
better solution because of the overhead of http.
