Hi there !
I would like to know if the current version of VLC is able to stream a
file (for instance, in MP3 format) file using RTP, transcoding it to
the G711 PCMU or PCMA payload formats.
So far, I tried this :
vlc foo.mp3 --sout
'#std{access=rtp,mux=raw}:transcode{acodec=raw}:rtp{dst=127.0.0.1,port:
16384}'
But it does not work (the pipeline cannot be constructed).
FYI, this is for testing SJPhone (a free SIP phone) RTP reception.
Any help would be greatly appreciaated,
-- Sébastien
PS: I also posted this message to the VLC ML, as it is a streaming
question for VLC, not VLS
