Depending on the quality of the card / driver you're using, there
might be some room for improvement there. If you're using encryption
over the wireless (which I think you mentioned it was) then that takes
a lot of processing. Also some cards / drivers are just more efficient
than others with hardware buffering, DMA, etc. If possible you might
want to look for "a more expensive card" (price tends to correspond
with "goodness") to see if it does better.
