Hi everybody,
I'm trying configuring the following real-time streaming scenario in my RH9
with VLC.
(INPUT) (Only 1 Program)
(Standard Output)
DVB-S (WinTV Nova) -> Transcoding (transrating the video ES from MPGV to
MPGV) -> File Save (mux=ts)
This is my vlc command:
./vlc dvb: --dvb-frequency 1183650000 --dvb-srate 27500000 --dvb-satno 1
--dvb-voltage 18 --dvb-adapter 0 --program 28106 --dvb-bu
dget-mode --ts-es-id-pid --ts-silent --sout
'#transcode{vcodec=mpgv,vb=3000}:standard{mux=ts,access=file,url=/tmp/Captur
a_DasErste_Tran
scode.mpg}'
During the process appears this messages endless:
libdvbpsi error (PSI decoder): TS discontinuity (received #, expected #)
[mpeg2video @ 0x8377268]MPEG motion vector out of boundary
I will try with the same transcode from a captured file an works fine. Its
for this that I suppose that my problem its with my hardware resources, the
RH9 machine it's a Pentium 600Mhz MMX with 512 MB of RAM memory.
Please, there are some way to "optimize" the performance of the dvb "live"
transcoding of the VLC ????
In the same way, what are the minimum hardware requirements for this
scenario ?????
Thanks in advance.
Best regards,
Raul.
