[streaming] VoD with MMS

Hi all,

if I understand correctly, the only way to make VLC to talk to WMP is 
with MMS, right ?

But what if I want to setup VoD ? The documentation seems to indicate 
that HTTP is to be used for VoD, but what about MMS ?

Is it possible to tell VLC to listen for MMS requests, the same way it 
does for HTTP requests ? Or is it possible to connect WMP to VLC using 
HTTP ?
