hi anand.s thanks for reply my message..

my problem is when i run vlc in multihop ad hoc network, the playback never start..each node i set in different subnetwork...when i tested in two node (end-to-end) vlc can run successfully..but when i tested in 3 node, it's not success..

my streaming is on multihop ad hoc network, so in 3 node..node 1 send streaming to node 3 through node 2....in 2 node i can able to receive although on a different network cause i used AODV protocol handler as the routing protocol..the name of the protocol handler is UobJadhoc..

my question is why vlc can not playback in my ad hoc network..is vlc can not use in multihop ad hoc network?is vlc just can in end-to-end connectivity?

streaming it thru Multicast & u can't able 2 receive on a different
network? is that ur question? if so i can clear ur doubt.
