[streaming] Hauppage WINTV NEXUS-s

Hi All,

        I am using Hauppage wintv nexus-s card which is connected to direct cable from Dishtv. 

         I am trying to scan for the channels with szap software, but unable to catch the signals.

1.  Can I know vlc can do the scanning?
2.  Or if any body tried with szap can you please send me the options to be set.

3. Once the signal is catched can i use vlc to stream?

Note : I am trying from India.

Please any help would be appreciated.
