Hi, From dvb sources in general it is possible to stream all the channels on
the same transponder, that can vary form 2-4 to 8-12 channels. Depending on
what you are receiving. If you search the mailing list of forums you should
find out how, also you should probably read up on the concept of DVB and
transponders.

Subject: [streaming] Multiple tv channels
Hi there,
I've installed VLC on a linux box and everything works fine to stream dvd's
or other movie files. What I would like to do is to use a DVB-S card to
stream live tv to the network. The question I have: Is it possible to stream
multiple tv channels with one single dvb-s card. And which card is the best
to do this? What is the limit of the amount of channels which can be
streamed?
Thanks for the help.
Yves
