Hello,
what software are you using for IP encapsulation?

Hi Harshal,
I am actually planning to implement a DVB-H
setup using a server and a mod-demod. I connected
a modulator-demodulator together to see if any data is lost
in this path and there seems to be none.
Also there is a software on the server which implements
IP encapsulation which is then sent to the modulator. This
encapsulator software uses the loop back IP to receive data
it needs to encapsulate.
Reading your WLAN post, I have tried using
Unicast instead of multicast and still no difference. Please
let me know if there is any better way to implement this setup.
Thanks very much,
Regards,

Ananta,
See my other post about possible problems with
using multicast over a WLAN.
But what do you mean by this:

How are you 'connecting server directly to the client' ? Could you
also clarify how are you using the loopback IP (I assume you mean
127.0.0.1) to send data?
