If I use --sout-keep I get VLC running locally, and the streaming
server doesn't launch.

This is my command line:

vlc -vvv --extraintf logger -I http --http-src /usr/share/vlc/http/ --
http-host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8090 --logfile /var/www/localhost/htdocs/
stream.html --logmode {html} /mnt/space/everything.m3u --sout
'#standard{access=http,mux=asf,url=xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:8080}'

Am I missing something? It's tough to just tell people to use the
"autoreconnect" option in the VLC client, because people are using
other clients as well...

thanks,
fnord
