  Except I want to so this before I rebroadcast the stream. The users 
here will just hear the scambled audio, think it's broken and turn off. 
They won't go into a menu and select just the 'left' channel.


  As it is, vlc is bordering on too complicated for them, I need a vlc 
plugin for OSX, or a really dumbed down version of vlc.
