Thanks a lot,

I was able to telnet & run the vlm.....
I have created a vod Test file.
But now i have different problem, Im able to stream form local machine only.
When i try to stream from VLC player on different machine i couldnt play.

The following are the setps i used to create VOD file.

1. Copied my sample.mpeg to C:\Programfiles\videolan\vlc\
2. Using telnet interface created Test object as follows
	new Test vod enabled
	setup Test input "sample.mpeg"
3. Saved the file as myconfig
4. Loaded the file myconfig
5.From the local machine when i give the url as
rtsp://192.168.1.196/Test its playing

But form other machine as rtsp://192.168.1.196/Test , its not palying.

I have these questions

1 What is the media directory where can i store my files? Is this
C:\Programfiles\videolan\vlc\ correct?
2. How do I connect form different client machine?

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Regards,
Pradeep
