[streaming] SAP of VLC

Dear All,
I would like to check the SAP feature of VLC. While setting to stream a 
content using RTP or UDP mode, I turn on the SAP Announce option with 
certain group name and channel name. Then how can I capture the SAP 
information ? I used another vlc, opened its playlist, selected the 
Manage/Services discovery/Session annoucements menu item, I could see 
the Session Announcements (SAP) in the playlist, but it was empty. Do I 
have to set some URI for this SAP (in the info property of this folder)?
